There is so much to learn about the tenderloin. There is one thing that I do know and that is that the tenderloin’s name is SO spot on. It is absolutely delicious, incredibly tender and creamy in your mouth. It is time to celebrate that you have adhered to your New Year’s resolution of health and there is no better way than with a top cut of meat! I’ve had a cut of tenderloin that after preparation allowed my fork to cut through it like a knife through butter. The preparation of my paleo 5280 tenderloin steak with Flavor God is almost as simple as making eggs in the morning. Heck, why not have this for breakfast anyhow? Those days of eggs or cereal in the morning are so old school these days.
This recipe below is so darn quick and easy and you may choose your choice of seasonings as well. Your choice of cut can make the world of difference in your meat’s flavor and texture. I have tried a few other lower quality grocery stores while traveling and wow, was I surprised. These cuts are from 5280 meat. They are grass-fed and grass-finished tenderloins raised right on their ranch. Since you are doing so well in your second week towards your health and physical goals, give yourself the best.
Rachel and Ty at 5280 meat supplied the below photo and had this to say about how easy a tenderloin is to make in their eyes. “Tenderloin steaks are also commonly known as filet mignon. We seared our 5280 Beef® Filet on the grill for about 2 minutes per side, seasoned with Flavor God Garlic Lovers and OMGhee. The best combo for meat hands-down!”

The paleo community has been making all sorts of strides in imparting new ways to use and prepare food as well as opening people’s eyes to another lifestyle besides sitting behind a chair and living on electronics. Because of this, I decided it was also time to learn a bit about the much talked about topic of grass-fed meats. This topic is important for our health. We choose our meats and what we ingest determines the many chemical changes one way or the other in our bodies. To be able to learn something new and then make an educated choice is frankly pretty darn key to our health, the health of the kids we raise, and our future races.
A really easy and flowing interview I did with the guys over at 5280meat is for you to read up on and get a bit more familiar on this topic.
In the meantime, gather the below ingredients together, heat up your grill and cook these steaks in no more than 10 minutes. Love it!Print
